 Fastcap with dielectric loss

Hello,

I am using Fastcap for quite a while now and I am very happy with the performance of the soft.

However I also want to engage some problems with materials that do have dielectric loss. Is there a chance to process these tasks with Fastcap (or a modified version of it)?
From theoretical point of view it seems to me that one "only" has to implement the dielectrics as being complex valued numbers.

Hi Piet,

As far as I know, fastCap doesn't take into account dielectric losses.
I heard about a mod version of Barnes-Hut algorithm, taking into account dielectric with tangent of loss, but this algorithm is not used in FastCap. Q3D is able to deal with it, but the price (and the goal) is not the same.

You might know that by now FasterCap do manage lossy materials.
