Hello, it seems that the 30 day demo for FasterCap does not currently work. I'd love to try it out. |

Also, and this is not strictly related, but it seems that the command line interface for FastCap2 was removed on windows, is there anyway it could be re-activated?
It would be useful to run FastCap2 programatically, without needing files. |

Please try re-loading the download page to flush the browser cache. You should now find the updated distribution files with the 2017 license.
Regarding FastCap2 Windows porting, yes the GUI version has no console mode available. This is because FastCap2 is fully scriptable via Windows Automation, which is a more powerful way to control FastCap2. You can find the details in the embedded online help, as well as some ready-to-use examples in the 'Samples' directory. For instance, you can control FastCap2 from MS Excel, or from LibreOffice Calc, and table the results nicely in a spreadsheet automatically.
If you still need the console version under Windows, you can compile it from the sources, that are available on GitHub, see the download page.

I have good news for you, we have slightly changed our business model, and we are distributing all our software under free licenses, in open source, as our main revenue streams were anyway coming from our professional services (consultancy, training, customization and support).
So you will not find demo versions any more, and will enjoy instead fully working software, with no restrictions, and in both binary and open source formats.
However, since we renovated the web site, you may have cached an old version of our web pages. Please try to reload / flush the cache of your web browser.
I checked the servers and they are ok, so I definitely think the problem is the above one. Please try again, and kindly let me know if you succeeded in accessing the software.
Best Regards, Enrico
