Fastcap2 is very good at the capacitance extraction of arbitrary 3-D structures. Now I want to call fastcap in matlab for my project.
I am facing two problelms: 1. I tried command "system(fastcap2.exe -lstructure.lst)" in Matlab, but no response; and file path setting is correct. here structure.lst is list file for Fastcap which executes well in Fastmodel
2. I just want to export the capacitance data to a specific file, is it possible?

You can use Automation to control and export data from FastCap2.
You can find the details on how to control FastCap2 in the embedded help text (Help menù, select "Help Topics"), and many samples in the 'Samples' directory in the installation path
