Hi, I am trying to learn how to prepare an input file. I was going through the user manual and these parameters confused me. When we define a segment we define which nodes it connects to. So the segment orientation is already defined by the position of the nodes. How does wx,wy,wz control the orientation of its cross section? Another confusion I have is that in the in the very beginning the manual says that "Each segment has a nite conductivity and its shape is a cylinder of rectangular cross section of some width and height" But subsequently all discussion and illustration of segments are cuboids. I didn't understand how is it a cylinder?
Any help would be appreciated.

The FastHenry segment is defined by the position of the nodes, but this only defines the direction of the segment. Since the segment is a rectangular cuboid, the orientation of the cross section (perpendicular to the direction) may vary. In fact, the thin line connecting the nodes at the core of the segment is its axis, and the segment is in principle free to rotate along it, while keeping the same direction. There is one default orientation, of course, but you don't want always the default.
Regarding the definition as "cylinder", well actually this is not 100% accurate. As said above, the FastHenry segment is a rectangular cuboid (if it were a real cylinder of circular cross-section, the orientation of the cross section would not have any influence).
