Hello,
I'm modeling some spiral (pancake) inductors, and I've got some really pleasing results that match reality very well.
I'm wondering how it is possible to get the Q of the inductor using this tool? I basically need the parasitic capacitance between the windings, but I'm pretty confused how to accomplish this.
I assume the answer is, use fastcap, but I'm looking for a little more direction than this please.
Thanks!

I may recommend you to read the paper by D. Kehrer, "Design of Monolithic Integrated Lumped Transformers in Silicon-based Technologies up to 20 GHz", Master Thesis, Technischen Universitaet Wien, Dec 2000. You can find it online on Google Scholar.
Also J. Peters, "Design of High Quality Factor Spiral Inductors in RF MCM-D", Master's Thesis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Sep 2004 is a nice reference, where the theory is well exposed, but the methodology is explained in less detail. You can find this paper online as well.
Best Regards, Enrico
