I downloaded FastModel but have been unsuccessful at getting my hand on the User's Guide. I was able to run through the Demo. I still need a copy of the User's Guide.
Can anyone please e-mail me a copy of the User's Guide or direct me to a site where I can download it.
Also I do not know if the FastModel will be able to help me with Microstrip design.

Please Help

An short addendum, for people who still are having troubles:

The default installation directory is the 'Program Files' directory under your Windows installation drive (this is valid for English versions of Windows; if you have a localized version, your 'Program Files' directory could have another name, corresponding to the translation of the name in your language, i.e. "Archivos de programa" in Spanish, "Program" in Swedish, and so on).

For most people, this is the directory C:\Program Files

Then the FastFieldSolvers software is installed under the "FastFieldSolvers" directory. So the base installation directory is usually:

C:\Program Files\FastFieldSolvers

Of course you could have made a different choice at the time of installation, but in this case you should be aware of which directory you installated you installed the software into

Then the current manuals are under

C:\Program Files\FastFieldSolvers\FastCap2\FastCap_User_Guide.pdf

C:\Program Files\FastFieldSolvers\FastHenry2\FastHenry_User_Guide.pdf
C:\Program Files\FastFieldSolvers\FastHenry2\FastHenry_nonuniform_gndplane_manual.pdf

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I am still unable to locate the manuals. I have seen so many references to the manual but the manual itself is eluding me. Please can you attach this to your response. I checked on the PCB discussion and will try it out when I get the manual. My problem is how to handle the dielectric since I am designing interconnects.

Thank you.

You can find User's guides for FastCap and FastHenry in the installation directory.

FastModel has no stand-alone User's guide, it relies on on-line help, launched from the 'Help' menu.

Yes FastModel could help you with ustrip design, especially if you have discontinuities (3D problems) but please remember that FastCap and FastHenry work under the quasistatic assumption (see the FAQ page on ht*p://w*w.fastfieldsolvers.com and the answer to 'PCB' topic under FastCap forum)

Best Regards,
Enrico
