Hi! I would like to generate some geometry in FreeCAD and import it into FastCap2 or FasterCap. I gather I need to use export_mesh.py.

Where can I get this script?

Thanks in advance,
Josh Smith

Dear Josh,

the file is included in the Python E.M. workbench github repo, i.e. ht*ps://github.com/ediloren/EM-Workbench-for-FreeCAD (and installed if you install the E.M. Workbench in FreeCAD, so you can find it under your 'Mod' folder)

Note that this is a basic routine. You need to prepare your input according to the instructions in the comments of the file.

Best Regards,
Enrico
