How do you mesh on a fastcap .qui file if you are not using PATRAN, and puting your own coordinates. This is as if putting wires on a pcb board and measuring the capacitance between the wires. Because I keep getting the error message: Warning - capacitance matrix has non-negative off-diagonals?

Yes that's one option. The other one is to have the mesh generated in the FastCap2 format by some intermediate conversion or directly by some script.

You can find some examples in the 'Samples' directory in FastCap2 installation path

So can you mesh a 3D conductor and a 3D dielectric interface using PATRAN files?
