Hello,
I am interested in meshing thin metallization layers over a dielectric substrate. Since I assume a rectangular metallization I would like to have a simple mesh consisting mostly of uniform squares and some thin panels and small squares only along the edges and at the corners (I guess a 0.1 ratio between large squares and small panels will be enough). Since I came across some discussions in this forum about scripts connecting Freecad to Fastcap I wonder if there is an already existing tool that would do the meshing I need?
Thanks

Firo

You can check the Forum "Overlapping panels in FasterCap" topic.
Mind you, the script has been designed for FasterCap, and does not work as it is for dielectric panels when used with FastCap.

Best Regards,
Enrico
