FastCap2 does not handle native 2D geometries. This capability is instead present in FasterCap (for a comparison between FasterCap and FastCap2 features, see our 'products' page).

If your question instead is related on how to visualize 2D FasterCap geometries into FastModel, you can use a simple work-around. Run a FasterCap simulation (possibly with a very coarse refinement level, e.g. manual settings and -m=1000000), selecting also the option "Output refined geometry in FastCap2 format (-o)".
You can then visualize the output file(s) in FastModel, as the geometry has been converted to 3D (with a dummy, fixed value z coordinate) for the sake of visualization.

Best Regards,
Enrico
