Can Fastercap simulate a conductor with electrical resistance?
I would like to simulate two metal electrodes attached to a tube filled with conductive fluid.
The fluid has some electrical conductivity, so it is not a pure dielectric.
I want to create a Spice model of the system, and am wondering if Fastercap can simulate the fluid inside the tube? |

No, this is not the goal of FasterCap. In electrostatic simulation, you would not need that.
However, you can simulate your structure. This is going to be a mix of C and R (provided you don't need L). You need to simulate the R via FastHenry, and the C via FasterCap.
Of course you need to tune the model you will compose with Cs and Rs. There are some articles that may interest you (even if they mostly deal with combining L and C; but similar principles apply), mostly under our Literature page, 'Interconnections' section.
