I have just downloaded Fastmodel for windows (x64). When I first start the program. it gives the following error message:
"Internal error: unable to Enum windows
FasterCap is not usable"

Then, not surprisingly, if I try to use FasterCap it says can not run because it has not been initialized.

Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

After checks, we verified that you may experience this issue when launching FastModel if FasterCap, for any reason, takes longer than expected to start-up (e.g. you have many applications open, or the OS is busy, etc.).

The simplest work-around is to close FastModel, and launch it again.
The second time the start-up is typically faster (as the OS already loaded the dynamic libraries, freed the memory, etc.), and you don't fall into the issue.

Please let me know if this w/a does not solve the problem.

Best Regards,
Enrico
