Hello,

i have a doubt about the following:

I've been developing planar spiral coils and before validating a design and producing a pcb i'd like to know its self-capacitance.

Firstly i've converted the fasthenry file to fastcap through "converthenry.exe", but then:

- Using fastercap the structure is refined but since it is a demo software the matrix capacitance doesn't appear.
- Using fastcap2 either with the refined .lst file or with the original .lst i get out of memory warning.

żIs there any formula available to obtain the capacitance of a planar spiral inductor like that to get the inductance: ht*p://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/login.jsp?tp=&arnumber=792620&url=ht*p%3A%2F%2Fieeexplore.ieee.org%2Fxpls%2Fabs_all.jsp%3Farnumber%3D792620?

żDoes it exist a FasterCap version for a couple of days :)?

Regards.
