Hi,
I'm trying to evaluate this software and would like help creating a model with two coplanar square plates on top of a ground plane with a dielectric in the middle. Could someone please help me create this model or provide files. Where is a description of the input file format at?

Thanks,
Jovan

If you are using/evaluating FasterCap, you can find all the details about the input file format in the embedded help you can launch from the FasterCap main window.

If you are using/evaluating FastCap2, from the main page of the embedded help you can open the FastCap original user's manual (you can find a link there).

In both cases, in the sample directory (the location is detailed in the embedded help, please check there; for instance, for 3D FasterCap samples under Win7, they are under "Users->Public->Public Documents->FastFieldSolvers->FasterCap->3D") you can find parallel plate capacitors source files you can play with and modify.
Be sure to read the comments in the input files, as they give you information, hints and tips on how to best model and simulate the structures.

Best Regards,
Enrico
